New Senior Study Centre

The New Senior Study Centre was opened last week. Anglican Schools Corporation CEO Ross Smith was invited to participate in the official opening with the help of the Primary and Secondary School Captains. What was ‘Wilpour House’ has been transformed into a productive space for Year 11, Year 12 and teaching staff.
The inaugural last two years of HSC results for OAGS have been outstanding, including 6th in the state for Design and Technology and 80% of our students being accepted into their university of choice, even before their HSC results.
The Study Centre has a university feel and provides a focus for achievement in the Preliminary and HSC Courses, but what makes it special is the people within it. As I visit the spacious light filled rooms with glass partitioning, I frequently see staff and students collaborating, honing their skills and developing their understanding, sharing their knowledge and exploring their learning. Our students final years of formal education are safe in the hands of OAGS.
