OAGS Dance Showcase 2018

In 2018 the the decision was made to offer the Dance program all year round in partnership with the fabulous team at United Dance Project in Orange.

Over 80 students signed up for this extra-curricular opportunity, many who do not regularly dance outside of school. Under the guidance of Leesa Chaseling, Principal of United Dance Project, Miss Dimity, Miss Bella and Miss Steph created a fun and inspiring atmosphere as they taught our students to move and groove!

On Thursday 22 November the Tarkett flooring went down and the stage was set for the OAGS Dance Showcase. Along with our school groups we also had special performances by Jade Branwhite, Leah Phiri, Imogen Johnston, Clare Nelson, Abigail Masters and Kyla Brown. Thank you to these solo and duo performers and their respective dance studios for these beautiful performances.

Thank you to the amazing team from United Dance Project as well as our Dance Coordinator Miss Gabby Seton for providing this opportunity to the students. Many thanks also to Ms Justine Staniforth and all of our volunteers who worked tirelessly assisting with costuming and logistics.
