Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser

On Friday 30 November OAGS welcomed a flood of red and yellow attire to raise much needed funds for the Ronald McDonald House in Orange. A range of fun and exciting activities were planned raising over $400 to add to the running total of funds raised over the year for this worthy cause. The final total will be delivered to Ronald McDonald house in the New Year.
Here is an exert from the RMH Orange website...
Being so close to the hospital, Ronald McDonald House Orange gives sick children the best gift of all – their family.
A family’s love is powerful medicine and research shows that, with loved ones close by to comfort and reassure them, children heal faster and cope better.
But families also need care and support. We understand the importance of being together as a family, especially during difficult times. Our House provides a supportive environment to help you cope with the day to day, so you can focus on the needs of your child.
The House welcomes you with all the comforts of home - kitchen, dining, laundry, bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus a range of spaces for play and relaxation, including a teenagers retreat, adults lounge area, children’s play area and a beautiful outdoor BBQ and play area. Most importantly of all, there is always a supportive volunteer or staff member there for you 24/7, every day of the year.
