Headmaster - Rev Louis Stringer

Bachelor of Education (Hons), Advanced Diploma (Christian Ministry & Theology), MACE

Louis commenced as Headmaster in January 2016. Formerly a House Master at Knox Grammar School he later took Command of SHORE Army Cadet Unit (ACU) after which he served as Deputy & Acting Headmaster of Macquarie Anglican Grammar School whilst Commanding 235ACU. Louis enjoys the outdoors and competes each year in the Crossfit Games. He and his wife Danielle have 5 children.

 

Director of Engagement - Mrs Jess Willis

Masters of Education (Ed. Psych.); Masters of Teaching (Primary); Bachelor of Social Science (Recreation and Human Movement)

Jess began teaching at OAGS in 2011 after watching her children grow and thrive in the early years of the school. With a passion for Primary education, Jess has taught across the school in a range of roles from Kindergarten to Year 8, using positive relationships to engage, support and understand her students. Jess and her husband Scott have 3 grown children who have all journeyed from Prep through to Year 12 at OAGS. They enjoy the country life and being hobby farmers on their small acreage. 

Head of Junior School - Ms Alice Glyde

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (Primary) ; Master of Educational Leadership 

In January 2024, Alice relocated to Orange from Sydney to begin as the Director of Primary.  Before starting at OAGS, Alice taught in the Junior School at St Luke’s Grammar (Dee Why) for 11 years where she held several positions, including Head of House and, more recently, Assistant Head of Junior School (2022 - 2023) and Acting Head of Junior School (Terms 1 - 3, 2023).  Alice has recently completed a Master of Educational Leadership at UNSW.    When the time allows, Alice loves to go skiing, creating pottery in her garage and walking her dog.

Head of Senior School - Ms Sarah-Jane Alley

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (HMHE) ; Master of Educational Leadership 

Sarah-Jane joins us in June 2026 from St Andrew's Anglican College, Peregian Springs, QLD where she is the Director of Personal Capacity.  Her career also includes a significant tenure at St Luke’s Grammar School as Assistant Head of Senior School.

Sarah-Jane’s leadership is deeply rooted in her Christian faith, and she is committed to fostering learning communities where faith informs practice and students are encouraged toward lives of purpose and service. 

Beyond her professional achievements—which include a 2025 nomination for the National Excellence in Teaching Awards—Sarah-Jane is an active community member, serving as a parkrun Event Ambassador and a mentor for international athletes. We are excited to welcome her to our community and look forward to the expertise and servant-hearted leadership she will bring to the School.
